Will I see all of the islands?
None of the tour boat companies can show you all 1,864 islands on a single tour. Rockport Cruises has an advantage being in the Heart of the 1000 Islands and you will be able to see all of the highlights on any of our cruises. We are the only boat line that will show you the famous Boldt Castle on all of our tours.
Do I need a passport?
You will require a passport for our cruises that stop at Boldt Castle. Passports are not required for any of our non-stop cruises.
Is the Boldt Castle Admission included in the ticket price?
Boldt Castle grounds admission is not included in the cruise price. Admission to Boldt Castle and the Yacht House must be purchased in advance through the Boldt Castle website here.
Should I make a reservation?
Advance reservations are recommended, particularly during the summer months. Reservations can be made by telephone (1-800-563-8687- Please have a pen and paper as you will be issued a confirmation number) or via our website Make A Reservation . Requests for same day cruises must be done in person at our ticket office, located at 20 Front Street, Rockport, ON.
Do your prices include Taxes?
All prices are plus HST (13%).
What payment types are accepted?
We accept Canadian/US cash, Visa, MasterCard and debit.
When are you open?
Our season starts in early May and runs seven days a week until the end of October. Specific dates and times vary depending on the cruise selected.
How long are the tours?
Heart of the Islands: 1 hour
Palaces & Palisades: 2 hours
Boldt Castle Tour: 4 hours
Sunset Sightseeing Cruise: 2.5 hours
What is the difference between the 1 hour and 2 hour cruise?
The Heart of the Islands one hour cruise offers the highlights of the region. We travel around Boldt Castle, by Zavikon Island, through the St. Lawrence Seaway and a portion of Millionaire’s Row. This is the perfect cruise for travelers who do not have a lot of time. The Palaces & Palisades is our Signature Cruise. This two hour cruise travels West up the Canadian side of the river, under the 1000 Islands International Bridge, by Zavikon Island and through US waters to see Boldt Castle, Millionaire’s Row, the St. Lawrence Seaway.
Do you accept large groups?
We specialize in large group tours and offer volume discounts. Group rates apply to groups of 25 or more passengers.
What do I need to bring?
We suggest wearing weather-appropriate clothing and sunscreen for the tour. Our Rockport General Store & Gift Shop has a nostalgic theme befitting Rockport’s heritage. The store carries a wide selection of merchandise in all price ranges. Snacks and beverages are available in the General Store and on board the vessel. The concession stand on board accepts cash only. No outside food or drink is permitted on any boat. If you are taking the Boldt Castle Tour, you can take a small packed lunch with you. No large coolers, please. Only small, soft sided coolers will be permitted.

Do you allow pets?
Only registered service dogs wearing working vests are allowed on the boats, motel, general store, and dining establishments.
Do your cruises operate in the rain?
Yes, our boats have enclosed areas for rainy days. Occasionally, a cruise may be canceled or delayed due to inclement weather.
Where can I pick up my tickets?
Tickets can be picked up at our Ticket Office located at 20 Front Street. From mid-July through mid-September we suggest arriving one hour in advance of departure to pick up your tickets.
Do you have gift certificates available?
Gift certificates are available year round. They can be cruise specific or an individual monetary amount via this link. Gift certificates for Cornwall’s Pub are also available by calling 613-659-2338.
