Will I see all of the islands?
None of the tour boat companies can show you all 1,864 islands on a single tour. Rockport Cruises has an advantage being in the Heart of the 1000 Islands and you will be able to see all of the highlights on any of our cruises. We are the only boat line that will show you the famous Boldt Castle on all of our tours.
How can I see both Singer and Boldt Castles?
Exclusive to Rockport Cruises is our all-day tour that includes both Singer Castle and Boldt Castle. Please refer to the Two Castle Tour information in our Cruises & Schedules section for more information.
Do I need a passport?
Should I make a reservation?
We require advance pre-paid reservations for our lunch and dinner cruises, as well as the Two-Castle Tour. We require a credit card at the time of booking in order to reserve your space. Reservations for other cruises are recommended, particularly during the summer months. Reservations can be made by telephone (1-800-563-8687- Please have a pen and paper as you will be issued a confirmation number) or via our website Make A Reservation . Reservations should be made at least 48 hours in advance of your departure in order to be confirmed in time. If your requested departure time is not available, we will offer an alternate choice as close as possible to your desired time. We are not able to take reservations on the day of cruises, tickets on sold on a first come, first served basis at our tickets office on the day of cruises.
What payment types are accepted?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, cash, and debit transactions.
When are you open?
Our season starts mid-April and runs seven days a week until October 31st. Specific dates and times vary depending on the cruise selected.

Heart of the Islands: 1 hour
Palaces & Palisades: 2 hours
St. Lawrence Lunch Cruise: 2 hours
Boldt Castle Cruise: 3.5 hours
Sunset Sightseeing & Dinner Cruises: 3 hours
Two Castle Tour: 6 hours
Do you accept large groups?
We specialize in large group tours and offer volume discounts. Group rates apply to groups of 25 or more passengers.
What do I need to bring?
We suggest wearing weather-appropriate clothing and sunscreen for the tour. Our Rockport General Store & Gift Shop has a nostalgic theme befitting Rockport’s heritage. The store carries a wide selection of merchandise in all price ranges. Snacks and beverages are available at our concession stands. No outside food or drink is permitted on any boat.

Do you allow pets?
Only registered service dogs are allowed on the boats, motel, general store, and dining establishments. We urge pet owners to use a local pet sitting service located a short distance away. Please contact Kathy or Glenn at For the Love of Paws at 613-382-8399 in advance of your departure to reserve a space for your pet.
Do your cruises operate in the rain?
Yes, our boats have enclosed areas for rainy days. Occasionally, a cruise may be canceled or delayed due to inclement weather.
Is there a charge for parking?
No, there is no charge for parking.
Where can I pick up my tickets?
Tickets can be picked up at our Ticket Office located at 20 Front Street. From mid-July through mid-September we suggest arriving one hour in advance of departure to pick up your tickets.
